90% of my customer never give their phone number. Unfortunately this field is mandatory.
How to disable this data or have an optional field?
In August 2023, this post requested the same functionality. Do you have a solution?
Without an optional field I will need to quit Square as I just open the service to my customer yesterday, and close it today. Please any option ?

At this time there isn’t a way to adjust this behavior with links created with the Checkout API. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team.
