We work on short term rentals and long term rentals also. Our problem is to collect damage deposit from the renter and refund it on check out without transaction fees. Guest pays deposit as per host policies in advance. Is that possible with the Square?
Square does not charge processing fees for refunds, if that’s what you’re saying. The original transaction will have a processing fee, but when you refund, it would refund everything, including the processing fee. Please let me know if I misunderstood, or if you have additional questions.
