Customer Receipt and In App Payments

Hello,

I’ve integrated the flutter in app payment SDK and it’s working with our backend. Before we go live we’ll need receipts to be sent to customers. Does the customer automatically get the receipt upon payment or would I manually need to send them an email? I don’t want to trigger the sending programmatically, I just want the customer on file to receive the receipt.

Another question, once we do go live, is it simply a case of swapping out the sandbox credentials to production?

At this time automatic receipts sent for payments completed with the Payments API and In-App Payments SDK aren’t currently available. You’ll need to build out the functionality to send a receipt to customer at this time. :slightly_smiling_face:

Currently we don’t have a public roadmap for features like this and we’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team. :slightly_smiling_face:
