I’m trying to use The API for connect an app. The goal for me is to create incoming orders from my application to Square.
I use Python to request the API. I can create orders, i receive the response from the API, but the order doesn’t appear on my dashboard…
An order appears in my dashboard if i proceed to the payment and fulfillments. But i don’t want to already done the payment. I want to do the payment once the order is received with my terminal, but i can’t.
Orders with fulfillment details that have been fully paid will be pushed to the Square Dashboard Orders section, so that sellers can manage fulfillments within their seller Dashboard. The Orders API currently supports two types of fulfillment orders: Pickup and Shipment . Read more about how to make fulfillment orders in our Create Orders guide.
Hello @Bryan-Square thanks for your response.
But in fact, I was wondering if there was a possibility to create an order without payments, and that this order is displayed in the dashboard?
Because when I create an order via the API without creating the payment, it does not appear in the dashboard. The goal would be to pay manually when a customer wants to pay in cash, for example.
This is a very popular feature request and we hope to have more options for you soon, so thanks for your continued patience.
Nice, So, I can’t wait for this feature to come out
