Coupon field not showing on payment form

Currently creating payment links for subscriptions (QuickPay) and everything is working smoothly. However, I’m not seeing the coupon code field showing up on the form.

We are explicitly setting enable_coupon to true, but the docs also say:

A checkout page always includes a COUPON section showing an empty UI field for the buyer to provide a Square Marketing Coupon. You can show or hide the COUPON section using the enable_coupon field as a checkout option.

There is an active marketing coupon available, as well (created via the normal Square Dashboard), though there doesn’t seem to be an API method to do that. The coupon is not associated to any item and applies to the entire order.

Help? Thanks.

Hello!

Even with enable_coupon set to true, subscription QuickPay links don’t currently support showing the coupon field. The coupon option only appears on standard Payment Links checkout pages, so for subscriptions you’ll need to apply discounts manually or use regular Payment Links until Square adds support.
