I would like Square Reader to be able to read NFC payment methods (e.g. Google Pay, Apple Pay) as well as original physical NFC cards that I will create on my own.
For example, I would like to do the following:
I will prepare identity cards with NFC chips for the staff members.
Staff members can use this ID card in order to receive goods for free.
Non-staff members can buy the goods using a normal NFC payment method.
Square readers can accept NFC payment for Google Pay, Apple Pay, and any NFC enabled card baring a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Union Pay, or Discover logo. Unfortunately a custom NFC card isn’t currently available to be used with Square readers.
Thank you for answering.
I got it.
Is it possible to read custom NFC cards with a Square Terminal?
Currently, the same goes for the Square Terminal. Reading a custom NFC isn’t currently available.
