Best Practice for Preventing Card Failur

Greetings! I am still in sandbox and trying to setup online subscription form. I have followed the guides and I am doing the following:

  1. Creating customer + ID
  2. Creating a Card on File for the customer
  3. Creating New Subscription with Card on FIle

Since I am still in sandbox, what is the best info to collect to prevent payment failures? During customer creation, I only ask for First, Last Name, and Email on customer creation. Then Web SDK form collects card, Exp, CVV and Zip. Is there something else needed to improve and prevent failures? Since this is online subscriptions and not a product, I do not need shipping address etc. Is this enough?
