I am using the /v2/locations//checkouts endpoint to create the checkout link to send to my customers to finish payments. When going to the link, there is no option for a TIP. We have that feature turned on in the dashboard, but still it does not show. There is nothing in the checkouts documentation to allow tipping. Can someone please help?
Currently, with the Checkout API the ability to accept a tip isn’t currently available. If you create an Online Checkout with Checkout Links in the Seller Dashboard you can configure it to accept a tip. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team.
