Android Reader SDK version 1.5.4 has been updated with various bug fixes and improvements. Although the update doesn't provide any new functionality, some of the improvements greatly improve Square's ability to provide support for issues that may arise. Therefore, we strongly encourage developers to adopt this version and update their applications to use it.

Due to dependency updates, version 1.5.4 also requires updating the compileSdkVersion build setting to 31. The targetSdkVersion build setting should remain at 30 or lower, depending on your application.
