Unable to use reader with mobile sdk

I am having an impossible time getting a square ready to be usable in my app. It pairs, but then says the reader is unavailable and a unable to establish a secure connection to Square.

I have verified that my bundle id and team id are correctly set and registered with my app:

I was able to figure it out.

For the next person, you have to install the app via test flight or the store.
