We are developing ionic cordova ios application integrated with square reader SDK. In our application we want to use only bluetooth device (square reader)
We tried removing requestMicrophone permissions popup but checkout fails with the error code microphone permissions needed.
If we show microphone permission and user denies the access, in checkout flow we get the error code microphone_permission_denied.
Is there a way application should not ask for microphone permissions as we are not using magnetic stripe reader.

Unfortunately, the ability to not ask for microphone permissions isn’t currently available. They are a requirement. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team.
