On October 10, 2026, we tried to authorize an application for a dedicated USA Sandbox test account with only MERCHANT_PROFILE_READ selected.
The first Save left the dialog open with Save disabled and no readable success or error. A separate refreshed account summary showed “No current authorized applications.” We dismissed the dialog once and rechecked. After revalidating the same account, Sandbox environment and sole permission, we submitted one more Save. The same freeze recurred, and the refreshed account summary again showed no authorized applications. No further submissions were attempted.
We did not inspect credential fields, copy access tokens, make payment API calls or enable test-driver dispatch. Closing the dialog did not establish server-side cancellation, so both submission outcomes remain uncertain.
What supported procedure can confirm whether either submission was accepted or could still complete later, and establish one read-only authorization without duplicate grants? What nonsecret diagnostic evidence would help investigate?
There is also a forum-access issue: a password-reset attempt reportedly returned HTTP 422. This was not independently reproduced, and its cause is unknown. A later read-only check showed the forum login screen without a readable error. What is the supported recovery route if that issue returns?
