Questions about integrating our kiosk application with Square restaurant POS and how to contract for it

I have developed kiosk software for tablets used in restaurants. I would like to integrate our kiosk software with restaurants using Square POS. The primary functions we would like to integrate with the Square POS are as follows

  1. Retrieve menu information from the POS and display it on the kiosk.
  2. Send order information placed by customers at the kiosk to the Square POS.
  3. Allow customers to tip using the kiosk.

I believe it is possible to implement the above features using Square’s Commerce API. However, I’m not sure it’s right.
I would like to inquire if an agreement with Square is required and the Commerce API is the right choice.

This is all possible with our API’s. You can use our Orders, Catalog, and Payments API to make all this possible. Also if you’d like you can also partner with Square. :slightly_smiling_face:
