That should allow you to remove the post.

Thanks. Foolish me. I had clicked on the 3 dots, but not on my post – on your reply. Apparently the trash can doesn’t appear on replies. I didn’t expect variations. But: Now I’m smart! Thanks.
FWIW…those 3 dots appear to save one icon’s worth of space. I’d just display the available options for all messages. But what do I know.
Also, if you happen to double click on the three dots (like those idiots with itchy button fingers), the trash can icon is directly below the dots, and some idiots might delete the whole post by mistake. There’s no confirmation–just poof.
