I am trying to create a catalogue of items each of which are actually donations.
Generous donors can then purchase an item at a variable price £1, £5, £10 etc.
I don’t see any way to achieve this as when I set up an online store I set an item to be a donation and when it syncs with the Items this info is lost again.
Also: Is it possible to automate this? I have used the API to create my catalogue with fixed prices, but I suspect there’s some extra meta-data that the online store is managing that I can’t access.

Are you using the Square Online Store? If so and you’ve created items using the Catalog API they will sync and you can add them to the Square Online Store.
