I see there’s a “fingerprint” property on the card for stored cards. This seems like it would be helpful in avoiding duplicate cards on a customer. Is there a timeline for exposing the “fingerprint” field?

This seems to be working now, and for all cards - not just stored ones. The docs still say ‘Not currently set’ though. I’d love to know more about whether it’s now fully implemented and whether it’s advisable to rely on it in production.
Currently the fingerprint
is intended as a Square-assigned identifier, based on the card number, to identify the card across multiple locations within a single application.
