Is there a Stripe Online Storefront API for JS?

Hello,

I’m interested in porting over my apps to Square.

However, a crucial part of my app’s functionality is reading the current cart contents before checkout, as well as accessing the currently logged in customer’s metadata.

I couldn’t find documentation or mention of a JS accessible storefront API (like the Cart AJAX API in Shopify).

Is there a Javascript window object or storefront API where frontend scripts can access this information from on a Square Online or Weebly storefront?

Unfortunately, there isn’t a frontend script that will access the cart contents that you can map back to catalog objects with the APIs. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team. :slightly_smiling_face:
