Hello,
I hope you can help me please.
I have a client using Xero as the accounts/finance back-end for their Square EPOS systems in their bars and restaurants.
The client is considering introducing D365 Business Central as their Group-wide ERP and finance system in place of Xero whilst retaining Square for EPOS.
Can you let me know if there’s a standard integration app available for Business Central, or is it a case of having to develop an API integration from scratch, please?
(Sorry, not a developer - asking for one!)
Thanks in advance.
Ash.

Hi Ash, There isn’t currently a standard or official integration app that directly connects Square with D365 Business Central like there is for Xero. That said, both platforms have robust APIs, so a custom integration is definitely possible and fairly common in these scenarios. Some businesses also explore middleware or third-party connectors like Zapier or Power Automate, though they may require customization to handle more complex workflows. When i cleared the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer exam, and came across several similar integration-related MB-820 questions while preparing with Pass4Future, so this is definitely a relevant and real-world topic. It’s best to have a developer review the APIs to scope out the effort based on your client’s needs.
