Hosted Payment Pages - 404/Blank

Hi, we are using the hosted payment pages and while they work fine for the majority of customers we are getting a significant number of customers reporting that once they are redirected to the link for the hosted page they either get a 404 error or a blank page. A handful have also reported security warnings (predominantly iOS).

While I appreciate the internet will occasionally fail to route the customer correctly this is happening far more than I would expect; the problem does not appear to be browser or device specific.

It might be a red herring but when the payment links have been tried subsequently they always appear to work - it is almost as if the person is trying the link before the payment page has physically been created/enabled.

Any insight would be appreciated as the number of errors is causing our customer to doubt the continued use of the Square solution.

The team is aware of this and working on a fix. As a workaround if you add a short delay before redirecting the customer it will resolve this. :slightly_smiling_face:

How long do payment links remain valid for?

Payment links created by the API are one time use links. :slightly_smiling_face:

Do you have a time frame for when the fix will be in place?

Unfortunately we don’t have a timeline for a fix at this time. :slightly_smiling_face:
