Credit Card Auth not responding

Hi,
We use the API for card authorization and it has worked fine for quite some time. Recently, a few customers report that after they enter the card information, they click Pay and nothing happens.

I know at least one uses Firefox on Windows.

Is anyone else having this issue?

If they inspect the page are their any console errors? :slightly_smiling_face:

I thought of that. However, my customer, the deli owner, could probably not handle that and certainly could not pass along the request and return a meaningful response. Of course, it is only a few customers so I can’t reproduce it. However, any button press of this importance must return successfully or display some error to the user. Since this is out of our control, someone there needs to address this.

Is there any way I can trap the error? I can send it to myself from JS.

Since this is on the client side this is hard to capture. Do you know if the customer is also experiencing a connection issue when this happens? It may explain why it’s unresponsive. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Bryan,

The customer is ordering from a large business with excellent internet service. I have passed along instructions on how to view/capture the console log. I guess that is all we can do for now.
