[BUG?] Shift export does not match Square tips

Shifts export does not match tip data

expected behaviour ➔ export and dashboard match

Hello! When shifts are exported from https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/shifts/timecards The data does not match what squareup.com reports in that same page. Here is an example

Is this a bug or are these not supposed to match in the first place, I’d rather exporting a simple sheet to a script that calculates it using the transactions api

Thanks in advance!

The data in the exported report and the dashboard should match. If they don’t, it could be due to a variety of factors such as different time zones, filters, or date ranges being used in the dashboard view and the exported report. If you’ve checked these factors and the data still doesn’t match, it could be a bug. However, without more specific details about the discrepancies you’re seeing, it’s hard to provide a definitive answer.

Ok, I got some more information here:

It looks like refunded tips do not register.

Amendment (It is CAD$21.02 not CAD$19.40)

Are these all exports from the reports from our Dashboard or are they reports generated from our APIs?

It’s from the squareup.com dashboard

Okay, I’d recommend reaching out to our CS team since it’s the reports generated from the Dashboard. This space is mainly for developers working with our APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.
