The Orders team is excited to announce that the DRAFT order state and the CloneOrder endpoint are now available in beta.
Use DRAFT orders for cart-building to prevent abandoned carts from cluttering your SearchOrder results (through state filtering) or the Order Manager UI.
Use CloneOrder to copy existing/historic orders for easy re-ordering. This action will copy your order, excluding transaction details like payments or fulfillments, into a new DRAFT order. that can be processed and transacted.
Combine these two features to build a concept of order templates that can be easily copied for common orders, e.g. subscription packages, and won’t show up in sales reporting.
