11..22min delay between creation of subscription & generation of associated invoice on oct-15

Hi,
I have reported this to Customer support but did not get a reply.
The issue is that Saturday October-15 I observed a very long delay between creation of subscription via subscription-api and creation & customer-mail of the the generated invoice

In normal circumstances the delay between “subscription create” and “invoice send” is only a few seconds.

Such “normal delay” is essential in order to prompt the customer for paying the invoice while customer is still in the booking environment after having ordered a subscription.

Can you please check:
Confirm there was serious server delay Saturday oct-15 that caused multiple minutes of delay while few seconds would be normal?
Comment on what caused this and what to expect in future

Note: This behaviour was observed while testing the booking end-point that we are creating because the 5% error-rate we are observing on the square-dashboard-generated checkout-link is un-acceptable to us.

If there is a delay when the subscription create and the invoice being sent there was probably an issue with one of our services that send the invoice. We’ve seen this before and the team is looking into why this is happening. :slightly_smiling_face:
