Coming Up: Square Unboxed 2022

We are so thrilled to host the 6th annual Square Unboxed - our developer and partner conference - on May 12, 2022! This year's event will be virtual, and we’re embracing all that’s different in this new world of commerce with buy now / pay later, cryptocurrency, globalization and contactless everything. Square Unboxed 2022 will explore the unique and inspiring ways Square and our developer and partner communities are approaching commerce solutions differently, helping sellers adapt to this new world.

It will be a great opportunity to peek into the future of commerce with an awesome lineup of speakers. Iddris Sandu of Spatial Labs will show you how augmented reality could be used for commerce and Adam Stacoviak of Changelog Media will moderate an engaging fireside chat with Block co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey. Square, Cash App and AfterPay leaders will inspire you with their discussion on the future of payments and much more.

We’ll also share some exciting platform product announcements live at Unboxed. On top of the headliners, we will demonstrate some of the incredible, creative solutions that our developer community is building to support sellers. You will have the opportunity to engage with Square employees and deep dive on topics that pique your interest across two programs of your choice: a technical track and a business track.
