Announcing Square Unboxed 2020

We’re thrilled to be announcing that Square Unboxed, our annual developer and partner conference, is happening – virtually – this year. Registration is now open for the free, 90-minute event on October 15. Register by September 28 to secure your spot!

As we started planning Unboxed, we wanted to acknowledge the wild ride all of us, and our sellers, have experienced in 2020. There is no longer “business as usual.” Sellers have accepted that business will not return to the normal we once knew — their business will need to continue to change and adapt for the foreseeable future. Square Unboxed will explore the unique and inspiring ways Square and our developer and partner communities are approaching commerce solutions differently, helping sellers adapt to unprecedented challenges in real-time.

While we won’t be able to feed you delicious cheeseburgers or take your headshots this year at Unboxed, you can still expect to:

• Hear from Square leaders about adaptations we’re seeing among our seller, developer, and partner communities – and what’s next.
• Get inspired by some of the incredible, creative solutions that our developer community is building to support sellers.
• Learn more about how to leverage Square APIs to build the future of commerce, which is evolving rapidly in this unusual business environment.
• Engage in follow-on opportunities to meet Square employees and deep-dive on topics that pique your interest during the main event.

We’ll also be sharing some exciting platform product announcements live at Unboxed: tune in to hear the news first! And those who register early will receive a little something special from us, too.
