# Would all orders created using the Create Order API fire orde.updated webhook for that order

Hi,  
Would orders created with this endpoint create-order fire webhook order.updated when the following occurs:

- Order is updated from Square’s POS
- Order is updated from Square’s order web dashboard

At this time `order.updated` events will only trigger if the order was created by the API. If it was created by the API then it will trigger when orders are updated on both the POS and Orders Dashboard. 🙂
