# Set taxes for modifiers in ad-hoc item lines

I’m trying to set the taxes for modifiers in the item lines, but I didn’t find any information about it, does it inherit the taxes of the orderline ?

There isn’t a tax applied to ad-hoc modifiers. It’s inclusive to the order total. 🙂
