Hi Square Developer Team,
We would like to request special access to the Discount Codes API for urMuv Rewards, including DISCOUNT_CODES_READ and DISCOUNT_CODES_WRITE, beginning with Sandbox testing.
urMuv is a merchant-authorized gaming and rewards platform. Square sellers connect their Square account to urMuv through OAuth and can configure promotional rewards for their branded games and campaigns.
Our goal is for a merchant to define a reward such as $5 off, and when a customer wins that reward, urMuv creates a unique, single-use Square-recognized discount code for that individual winner.
The winner should be able to present the code for redemption through supported Square POS channels or manually enter it during supported Square Online checkout. Each winner would receive their own unique code, allowing Square to enforce redemption and prevent duplicate use.
Our initial Sandbox test would be:
Merchant configures $5 off → customer wins → urMuv creates a unique $5 discount code → customer redeems it → urMuv verifies the redemption status.
We already have an existing urMuv Rewards Square developer application, working Sandbox OAuth integration, and a Sandbox seller account.
We would like to begin with Sandbox access so we can validate unique code creation, redemption, duplicate-use prevention, and redemption status before any production rollout.
Could you please help us begin the special-access review? We can provide our Application ID, Sandbox Merchant ID, and any other required application information privately.
