Hi Square Developer team,
I’m developing a custom integration for my own business, Sip N Swirl, using the Square APIs.
Our integration already uses the Square API in production, and we also use Square Vouchers created through Square Dashboard under Customers → Marketing → Vouchers.
We’d like to request access to the Discount Codes API, including DISCOUNT_CODES_READ and DISCOUNT_CODES_WRITE.
Our use case is to automatically create unique birthday voucher codes for our customers. Each voucher would provide 50% off the entire sale, be limited to a single redemption, and be valid for a defined 7-day period.
For example: BDAY-2109-DCC9
We need these codes to work through the normal voucher-code field on our Square Online store, with Square remaining the source of truth for the voucher and its redemption.
I understand from previous forum posts that access to /v2/discount-codes is available by special request.
Could someone from the Square Developer team please assist with enabling access for our application?
I’m happy to provide our Production Application ID and any account details privately.
The Square account/application I’m requesting access for is under a different Square account. I can provide the Production Application ID privately.
