# Request for Discount Codes API access – Robowok (Canada, Orders API checkout)

Hi Square Developer team,

We run Robowok, a restaurant in London, Ontario, Canada. Our website uses the Web Payments SDK and the Orders API for pickup orders. Our Square Marketing automations (birthday, welcome, win-back and loyalty anniversary) email customers a coupon code, and customers want to use it when they order on our website.

We would like to request access to the Discount Codes API, so our checkout can look up the code and record the redemption on the order, following the flow described here: [Request for Discount Codes API access - Activate U](https://developer.squareup.com/forums/t/request-for-discount-codes-api-access-activate-u/28436)

Two questions:

1. Is the alpha open to sellers in Canada?
2. Can codes created by Square Marketing automations (not only Dashboard vanity codes) be looked up and redeemed this way?

We can share our production application ID and merchant ID by DM.
