Hello everyone ! I got some issue with our webhook subscription.

Our webhook subscription is enabled in production, with a single event type (payment.updated) and a public HTTPS notification URL. A test event sent from the Developer Dashboard is delivered and answered HTTP 200 by our endpoint, and appears in the subscription logs.

No real payment ever triggers a delivery. Three completed card and cash payments taken on a Square Register (Square for Restaurants), all with an order\_id, created after the subscription — no delivery attempt at all in the subscription logs, so this is not a retry or a 4xx/5xx issue.

Already checked: the access token used to create the subscription belongs to the same application (POST /oauth2/token/status confirms the client\_id), it holds PAYMENTS\_READ and ORDERS\_READ, GET /v2/payments returns those payments normally, everything is production (not sandbox), and the subscription was deleted and recreated cleanly with a single event type — no change.

Why would payment.updated not be emitted for a seller’s in-person payments while dashboard test events reach the same endpoint? Happy to share the merchant ID, application ID, subscription ID and payment IDs privately.

Thanks in advance and have a good day,

Tempestl

@Tempestl - Can you please provide your App ID and any associated payment IDs and timestamps for your tests?
