# How to get Historic Data - Bookings / Transactions?

How can I retrieve transaction details from the whole past year?

Additionally, it would be helpful if Square could refresh their documentation and clearly indicate replacements for DEPRECATED items.

With Square APIs your get historic data by calling the [Payments API](https://developer.squareup.com/docs/payments-refunds) and [Orders API](https://developer.squareup.com/docs/orders-api/what-it-does). 🙂
