Hi! I’m new to development and the Square system. I’m looking to make a program that will download a few CSVs that I will be using data from. Particularly, I’m looking at these two in the Dashboard: Reports → item sales and Reports → modifier sales. Is there a way that I can get these two CSV files through the Square APIs or would I have to build my own Sales Report as demonstrated in the following link?

> **[Build a Sales Report](https://developer.squareup.com/docs/customers/scenarios/simple-sales-report)**
>
> The Sales Report sample application shows how to build a report that details all the items sold between two dates.

At this time the ability to get .csv with our APIs isn’t currently available. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team.

Is there way to direct any kind of sales reporting data out of square and into google sheets using API?

Yes, you can definitely write a script that calls our APIs to generate reports. 🙂
