# Customer Appointment Confirmation Status in the Bookings API

**Feature Request: Expose Appointment Confirmations in Bookings API**

Please make available customer appointment confirmations through the public Bookings API.

Square already provides this data internally through `/appointments/merchant/api/reservations`, including `confirmations` and `confirmation_messages`, but it isn’t available through the public Bookings API.

Existing data available in private APIs

Ideally, please expose these existing fields publicly, or at least provide `customer_confirmed` and `confirmed_at`.

This is important for appointment-based businesses so we can automatically identify unconfirmed appointments, follow up with customers, and reduce no-shows while continuing to use Square’s native confirmation system.
