# Commercial API Integration Inquiry – Restaurant Management SaaS in Japan

Hello Square Developer Team,

We are currently developing a SaaS platform for restaurant management in Japan.

We are considering integrating Square POS into our service from its initial launch.

Our goal is to automatically retrieve POS data for daily sales reporting and business analytics.

We would appreciate your guidance on the following questions:

1. Is it permitted to use Square APIs commercially in a third-party SaaS platform serving multiple independent restaurant businesses?

2. Can we retrieve the following data through Square APIs?

3. Can each restaurant independently authorize access to its Square account through OAuth?

4. Are there any API usage fees, rate limits, commercial restrictions, or partner approval requirements?

5. Is a sandbox environment available for development and testing?

6. Are there any additional requirements for providing this integration commercially in Japan?

Our service is currently under development, so we are not publicly disclosing its name at this stage.
