# Channel name not updating after renaming app

My production app (Application ID sq0idp-SkuPr-PldaDyv2nuX\_G9dA) was renamed from “Nested Modifier Test” to “Grill Ordering Online” over a week ago, but new payments in the Seller Dashboard still show “Channel: Nested Modifier Test”. How do I get the channel name updated?

Unfortunately this field does not update when app names are changed. Are you able to create a new app ID for your integration with the proper name?

Yeah, I was just hoping I didn’t have to do that.

But if that’s the only option, I’ll do it.
