I’m developing Correct Time Canada, a read-only appointment-time review tool for one Canadian salon pilot. Hosted Square OAuth and Bookings API reads are now working.
Can an unpublished app have a supported launch entry in Square Appointments on iPhone and Android? If so, what registration is required, and is Square Register supported? Our developer console exposes no launch URL control, and the connected app shows Manage rather than Visit or Launch. We need a way to open the hosted tool, not embedded custom screens.
Our app-partner application was acknowledged on September 27. Does this launch capability require Marketplace approval, or can the private pilot proceed separately? Please confirm the current eligibility and review path.
The application linked an earlier alpha. I can share the current hosted pilot URL, application ID and contact email privately with Square staff.
Im confused by the question could you ask again another way? Our App Marketplace has nothing to do with API access- it is merely an optional marketing surface but we have an open API platform that does not require QA or a formal partnerships to build with.
My question is about where the seller opens our app. Can a seller add a launch link for an unpublished, OAuth-connected web app inside Square Appointments on iPhone or Android? If supported, where is that link configured, and does Square Register support it too? We’re asking for a link that opens our hosted app, not an embedded interface.
Separately, is Marketplace onboarding still paused for developers without an assigned Partnerships contact? What is the current route for getting an app listed?
