# API call for sales by employee

The Daily Sales Summary Report shows a bar chart of sales by employee.  
v2/orders/search doesn’t seem to have employee id.  
What API method has this information?

The `employee_id` is in the payment response from the [Payments API](https://developer.squareup.com/reference/square/payments-api/get-payment). 🙂
