# Activate payments square account

hello, i just register an account for production, and when i open developer.squareup, it says You must activate your Square account for payments by visiting[squareup.com/activate](https://squareup.com/activate)before you can process card payments in production.

when i click the link, it redirects me to seller dashboard, could you please assists me for this?

To activate your Square account for payments, you need to follow the link to the Seller Dashboard that you mentioned. Once you’re in the Seller Dashboard, you should see an option to activate your account for payments. If you don’t see this option, it’s possible that your account is already activated. If you’re still having trouble, it might be best to reach out to Square’s support team for further assistance.
